SENT TO ALL ACTORS – IMPORTANT!
As you all know, today marks the first “Ready Date.” This means that everyone, except for Alex and Luoyi—who have until November 1—should have learned their lines and shown that their character is ready. Some of you have not met this expectation, so your segment of the film will be put on hold. You will receive notice later tonight regarding this.

Your segment will remain on hold until you complete a new scene before the Guardian of the Gate, which will not involve any other actor. This process is designed to demonstrate your commitment to the role, your ability to learn your lines, and your willingness to dedicate time to your acting. It will also ensure that you do not hinder your partner by forcing them to start over with a new partner or scene.

If you receive a notice tonight, you will have until next Saturday to schedule a meeting with me regarding the new Guardian scene. If you receive a notice tonight, it is essential that you schedule a time to meet with me this week to secure your place in the movie.

From now on, the “Ready Date” will be your shoot date and will be determined during your first meeting with me about your segment. You must learn your lines and schedule rehearsals effectively so that I can be confident in your readiness —both in your lines and in your performance —before your designated “Ready Date.” Under this policy, every segment will be filmed within 3 weeks of the actor getting the script.

If you do not receive a notice tonight, you should still come in and see me this week so we can schedule your shoot.
