“Guardian of the Gate”
We are introducing a unique process for actor training and the production creation process. Actors learn most effectively when their performances are tied to a real production outcome. Any project that stands out and shows potential for production will be assigned to our Green Scream Films production process, in collaboration with Monica Hoft Films, for final paid productions in our “Terror In Tiny Bits” series. Ms. Hoft will make the final decision, but I will also be involved in selecting projects for the screen.
Every actor who chooses to participate will be part of an ongoing, filmed performance in the greenscreen room. This setup will still allow actors to work on camera, portray multiple characters, and produce a finished product that will be showcased in front of our actors and possibly on our own WebTV channel, and given to the actor fully edited with a score, titles, etc. The first series of projects will be called “The Guardian of the Gate.” The basic concept is that every human appears before the Guardian after or even on their deathbed. During this process, they will be interviewed and may be given challenges and tasks to complete before they can cross the Guardian’s path. The actors can play many characters and have new episodes constantly.
