Self-Casting
ActingSOS is the only self-casting program in Las Vegas, and we believe it may be the only one, period. No more going to constant auditions, getting rejected because your skill sets are good, but you are not right for the role. No more worrying about the size of your role or if it is even something you want to do.
- Once you are added to the Self-Casting member list, you cast yourself.
- You send in or come in and perform a simple monologue that we will provide, or you can perform any monologue you wish. If your skills are strong, you will be added to the Self-Casting list immediately. If you are new to the industry, our coach will work with you in a group class for as long as it takes to get you ready, and you will never pay for this service or any other service at ActingSOS.
- You pick an actor from the Self-Casting page and talk to him or her about availability. You will be given a link to talk to people on the forum, or you can click on their email and talk to them.
- You schedule to come in and discuss the role we will write for you.
- We will tell you about the current film and where you will fit in.
- We explain how our films have guaranteed distribution on our own worldwide streaming site, and 94% of all profits are split between cast and crew based on the amount of time you put into the film.
- You will start with a single scene and one partner, and can do this as often as you have the time and commitment, until the current film or episode is cast, then we move on to another movie.
- You can and will be cast in numerous films with different ActingSOS producers. So your resume enhancements will be professional and complete.
- You never pay for anything.
- We take free professional headshots for you.
- We provide free demo reel shoots to build a demo reel for you.
- We even help you with self-tape auditions and film them for you.
